PSHE - Intention
At Rucstall Primary School we provide a wide-reaching and inclusive PSHE curriculum. This curriculum is broken into three strands: Relationships; Living in the Wider World; and Health and Wellbeing These strands ensure that children at Rucstall Primary School are able to live securely and safely while attending our school and in the future. Children learn to be respectful and co-operative with others, as well as stable and resilient in themselves. PSHE at Rucstall Primary School encourages children to be resilient in their mental wellbeing and suggests strategies to support this. Our curriculum supports children’s social, mental and physical development and encourages them to be proactive as they, as individuals, grow within our school community.
