October 2025 - Butser Trip

This week we went on our history trip to Butser ancient farm! There were so many brilliant pictures of the children having loads of fun it was hard to pick. Here we are building a wattle fence, exploring iron age homes, making pinch pots from clay and creating our own chalk carvings. The children (and adults!) learned so much about how ancient people lived in the stone and iron ages and had a blast doing it!

October 2025 - Poles investigation

This week in Lime class the children have been investigating the strength of non-contact force. They used rulers and magnets to measure how far away the poles need to be from each other to attract or repel!

October 2025 - Maths

This week the children are continuing their learning surrounding column subtraction. I am so pleased to see the children trying so hard even though many are finding it tricky and  some of you are even practicing at home! Well done Lime Class!

October 2025 - Stone age boy dramas

Last week the children used drama to retell the story of stone age boy! They threw themselves into it and had so much fun. Below are some pictures of their performances... I almost thought there was a couple of bears in the class room!

September 2025 - gymnastics shapes

For the last couple of weeks in lime class we have been learning and experimenting with different shapes in gymnastics. Last week we learned arch, dish, back support, front support, shoulder stand and bridge.
