Caterlink is the meal provider at Rucstall, from September 2025 onwards.

The cost of meals is £3.00. this remains free for children in Early Years, Years One and Two.

There are numerous benefits to this company for both parents and the school:

• Better meal price for the school and parents - £3.00, a 20p reduction per meal per child (this will be updated on Parentmail from September)

• X3 menu options – meat, vegetarian and jacket potato option (x4 in the summer!)

These elements remain the same:

• Children will continue to order in the mornings when they arrive.
• Children in Year R, One and Two are entitled to Universal Free School Meals.
• Children entitled to Free School Meals will continue to receive these free.
• Parents required to pay for meals must do so through Parentmail prior to their child ordering – we do not allow debt to accrue.
• Special diets can be supported through communication with the school office – these parents will receive a further communication requesting new documentation and also includes those with nut allergies (although the menu is fully nut-free).
