Reception (Year R/EYFS) Admissions

If you are interested in your child starting with us in Reception (Year R/EYFS), please check this page regularly for details of our Open Events, where you can enjoy a full tour of the school and meet the Headteacher.

Admissions to Other Year Groups (including Year 3)

If you are interested in your child joining us in another year group, then please contact the school office to register your interest. A link to the application process can be found below the school's details. 

We also encourage you to explore our website and read our Prospectus, which provide further information about the values, aims and ethos of Rucstall Primary School.

Once you have decided that Rucstall Primary School is the right place for your child, and we have confirmed that a place is available, the link below will take you to the online application process.

Following applications, we aim to notify parents/carers of their application outcome, and details about their right to appeal, within 10 working days - 15 days in writing. 

Open Events for 2027 starters

Our Open Events for prospective Reception parents and carers will take place on:

16th October 2026 @ 9.15am

13th November 2026 @9.15am

8th January 2027 @ 9.15am
