PE and Sports
We offer a varied Physical Education curriculum that encourages all pupils to participate in physically demanding activities. We aim to provide opportunities for every child to become physically confident in a way which supports their health and fitness. Not only do we provide opportunities to compete in sport and other activities but we help to embed the school values, such as cooperation and respect.

Physical Education in Key Stage 2 focuses on:
PE is taught as a whole class by either the class teacher or sometimes, with a specialist P.E. teacher.
Alongside the teaching staff we have specialist sports coaches teaching certain aspects of the curriculum. This year we are looking forward to learning hockey and tag rugby skills in Years 4, 5 & 6. Years 1 and 2 have already enjoyed a tennis workshop. Year 5 also have cricket at QMC to look forward to!
